Slyde ("we," "our," "us") is a technology App that facilitates the connection between individuals seeking services ("Posters") and independent service providers ("Slyders"). Slyde does not provide or perform any of the services listed on the App; it solely operates as a digital intermediary.
By accessing, registering, or using the Slyde App (including our mobile application and website), you (the "User") agree to comply with these Terms and Conditions ("Agreement"). If you do not accept these terms, you will not be allowed to use the App.
This Agreement is governed by the laws of England and Wales and complies with key UK legislative frameworks, including:
Consumer Rights Act 2015 (rights of users regarding contracts and service quality)
Employment Rights Act 1996 (clarification of worker status)
Data Protection Act 2018 (UK GDPR) (personal data collection and processing)
Equality Act 2010 (anti-discrimination obligations)
Limitation Act 1980 (regulation of liability claims)
2.1 Age Restrictions
Users must be at least 18 years old to create an account on the Slyde App.
2.2 Right to Work & Visa Compliance
Slyders are solely responsible for ensuring they have the legal right to work in the UK.
Individuals holding a UK student visa (Tier 4/Student Route) are not allowed to Slyde for Tasks as Slyde offers its services to individual contracts and does not act as a PAYE, contractors (i.e. Slyders/Posters) are solely responsible for filing their Taxes, in accordance with the Laws governed by the U.K Government.
Individuals holding a UK Student visa (Tier 4/Student Route) are allowed to Post tasks as this does not involve any Tax implications and sits within the remit of rules and regulations for individuals holding a student Visa as governed by the U.K Government.
Slyde reserves the right to report violations to UKVI and relevant authorities.
2.3 Identity & Verification Protocols
Slyde employs third-party (Stripe) identity verification services to validate user credentials. However, these checks rely on user-provided information, and Slyde does not guarantee the accuracy, legitimacy, or completeness of any user profile.
Slyde strictly adheres to the policy whereby; it remains mandatory for an individual to verify their identity in order to use the Slyde App.
It is solely the responsibility of the Poster to verify the identity of the Slyder before beginning the Task to ensure the identity matches with that of Slyde Apps verification.
3.1 Obligations of Posters
By submitting a task request, Posters agree to:
Provide accurate, complete, and non-misleading descriptions of the required service, including date, time, location, duration, and offered payment.
Ensure the task is legal, ethical, and safe.
Secure any valuable or sensitive possessions to mitigate risks of theft, damage, or loss.
Accept full liability for any disputes, injuries, or property damage arising from interactions with a Slyder.
3.2 Obligations of Slyders
By providing services via Slyde, Slyders confirm that they:
Operate as self-employed contractors and are responsible for their own taxes.
Will perform services in a professional, competent, and ethical manner.
Are personally liable for any injury, property damage, or disputes resulting from their work.
Accept that Slyde does not verify qualifications, certifications, or professional accreditations.
3.3 Insurance & Indemnification
Slyde does not provide insurance coverage, including public liability, professional indemnity, or employer’s liability insurance.
Users are encouraged to secure appropriate insurance for protection against risks.
Slyde disclaims any liability for claims related to personal injury, property damage, or financial loss.
4.1 Payment Structure
Payments are processed via Stripe, an independent third-party payment service provider. Users must comply with Stripe’s terms of service.
4.2 App Fees & Commission
Slyde reserves the right to introduce & modify commission fees applicable to both Task Posters and Slyders. These fees will be communicated in advance and clearly outlined within the platform. By continuing to use Slyde, users acknowledge and accept that such charges may be implemented as part of the service offering.
With prior notice to users, Slyde reserves the right to modify pricing structures.
4.3 Refunds & Cancellation Policy
Cancellations before service commencement may be eligible for a refund.
Refund requests based on service dissatisfaction are subject to dispute resolution procedures (Refer to section 4.3.1).
4.3.1 Cancellation policy explained
Slyder cancels within 12 Hours:
Popup: Are you sure? This action can have consequences if not pre-agreed upon with the poster.
Send a popup notification to the poster asking: The Slyder has cancelled the scheduled task, was this mutual?
Mutual:
No strike, everyone happy!
Not Mutual:
We issue an apology to the poster and we ensure to take appropriate action
We issue a strike to the Slyder (Strikes +1)
We then check in the backend if the strikes are > 5, if that’s the case, we email the Slyder saying that their account has been suspended due to this reason. If they wish to talk to us they can contact us at support@slyde.online
Poster cancels (Deletes) the job within 12 Hours:
Popup: Are you sure you want to delete? This action can have consequences if not pre-agreed with the Slyder.
Send a popup notification to the Slyder asking: The Poster has cancelled (deleted) the scheduled task, was this mutual?
Mutual:
No strike, everyone happy!
Not Mutual:
We issue an apology to the slyder and we ensure them to take appropriate action against the poster.
We issue a strike to the poster (Strikes +1)

5.1 Conflict Resolution Between Users
Posters and Slyders are encouraged to resolve disputes amicably.
Agreements made outside of Slyde’s App are at users' own risk.
5.2 Slyde's Role in Disputes
Slyde may intervene in disputes at its discretion but bears no obligation to resolve issues.
Fraudulent claims, bad-faith disputes, or contract breaches may result in account suspension, and we may take legal action if necessary.
Slyde may suspend or terminate accounts under the following conditions:
Fraud, misconduct, harassment, or unlawful activities.
Breach of UK work restrictions.
Violation of Slyde’s Terms and Conditions.
*Users may request account deletion, subject to the settlement of outstanding obligations.
7.1 No Guarantee of Service Performance
Slyde does not guarantee the quality, completion, or legality of services performed by Slyders.
7.2 Liability Cap
Slyde’s maximum liability to any user is limited to the total commission fees earned by Slyde from that user within the last six months.
8.1 UK GDPR Compliance
Slyde complies with the UK Data Protection Act 2018 and UK GDPR.
8.2 Data Collection & Usage
Slyde collects and processes personal data at its discretion for operational purposes.
Slyde does not share personal data with entities restricted under UK data protection laws.
Data handling is conducted in accordance with lawful processing obligations.
This Agreement is governed by the laws of England and Wales. Disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of UK courts.
Slyde is a seamless App designed to connect service providers with task posters. Here’s how it works:
Post a Task: Posters create a task listing, specifying service details.
Apply for a Task: Slyders browse and apply for available tasks.
Choose a Slyder: Posters review applicants and select a suitable provider.
Complete the Task: The Slyder performs the agreed service.
Payment Release: Once the task is marked as completed, payment is processed through Stripe.

A. In Cases, where you are a user of Slyde App in (or the Services are performed in) the UK, then the following terms will also apply to or may vary this Agreement to the extent specified: a. "Slyder/Poster" means SLYDE TECH LTD is a company registered in England and Wales under company number 16163988, email support@slyde.online and VAT number;
b. A reference to "£" is to Great British pound sterling;
c. The implied terms included in the Non-Excludable Conditions include the implied terms under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, which include (without limitation) that Slyde’s services under this Agreement are performed with reasonable care and skill;
d. The exclusions and limitations of liability shall be as follows:
(1) Nothing in this Agreement excludes or limits Slyde’s liability for:
(i) death or personal injury caused by our negligence;
(ii) fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation; and
(2) If Slyde fails to comply with the terms of this Agreement, Slyde is responsible for loss or damage You suffer that is a foreseeable result of Slyde’s breach of this Agreement or Slyde's negligence, but Slyde is not responsible for any loss or damage that is not foreseeable. Loss or damage is foreseeable if it was an obvious consequence of Slyde's breach or if it was contemplated by You and Slyde at the time that this Agreement become binding.
(3) Save as set out in paragraph (1) above, Slyde shall not be liable to You for any loss or damage arising out of or in any way connected with:
(i) any transaction between Posters and Slyders
e. The governing law and jurisdiction shall be as follows:
(1) This Agreement is governed by English law. This means that Your access to and use of the Slyde App, and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection therewith (including non-contractual disputes or claims) will be governed by English law.
(2) You can bring proceedings in respect of this Agreement in the English courts.
(3) As a consumer, nothing in this Agreement, including paragraph (1) above, affects Your rights as a consumer to rely on such mandatory provisions of local law.
(4) If we are not able to satisfy Your complaint about our Services, then Your complaint can be addressed by contacting support@slyde.online
f. The following tax provisions shall apply:
(1) If You are a Slyder, You must have the right to provide Services under a Task Contract and to work in the United Kingdom and You must not be established for VAT purposes outside the United Kingdom. You must comply with tax and regulatory obligations in relation to any payment (including the Slyder Funds) received under a Task Contract. You must not sell goods as a separate supply through the Slyde App.
(i) You must supply such goods outside of the Slyde App and under a separate contract between You and the Poster; and
(ii) the Agreed Price shall not constitute consideration for such goods and be dealt with in accordance with paragraph (1) above.
g. The Service Fee and/or the Cancellation Fee only becomes payable to Slyde under this Agreement once Slyde has performed its services. Therefore, You are not entitled to cancellation rights under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 in relation to the Service Fee and/or the Cancellation Fee.
