When you interact with the Slyde App, certain data is collected automatically. The categories of information we gather—both currently and within the past 12 months—include:

Unique device identifiers, including IP address and ad tracking ID
Slyde may also gather certain technical details automatically through cookies and other tracking tools. This can include your mobile device’s unique ID, IP address, browser type, and usage patterns. This data helps us understand user activity by tracking geographic regions where users access the App and aids in fraud prevention and security efforts. Please note that using IP-masking tools (such as the TOR network) may limit access to certain App features and is not permitted.
Location Data
We collect approximate location details (such as city or postal code) based on your IP address. If you allow location access on our mobile app, we may also collect precise GPS-based coordinates (latitude/longitude) to help display relevant location-based content. Your exact location, obtained this way, is not shared with other users.
For more details on how we use cookies and similar tracking technologies, refer to our Cookie Policy, which outlines the types of cookies used and their purpose.
We use your data to:
Facilitate task postings and connections between posters and sliders.
Process payments and calculate service fees.
Improve our App by analyzing usage trends.
Send notifications, updates, or promotional materials (you can opt out).
Ensure security and prevent fraudulent activity.
Comply with legal requirements and protect your rights.
We collect and utilize your information for various business and commercial purposes as outlined in this Privacy Policy. These purposes include:
App Operation & Service Facilitation
Your information helps us run the Slyde App by connecting ‘SLYDERS’ and ‘POSTERS’, allowing task postings, selections, completions, and payments. This is essential for fulfilling our agreements with users.
Billing & Fraud Prevention
To maintain a safe environment where Posters and Slyders can interact securely, we use your data for fraud detection, payment processing, and legal compliance.
Identity Verification & Background Checks
We do conduct identity checks on users. This is done to enhance user safety, prevent fraudulent activities, and maintain trust in the App, especially since Slyders often interact directly with Posters in personal spaces.
App Analysis & Improvement
We analyze usage trends to refine our services, enhance functionality, and grow our business.

We may contact you via email, SMS, push notifications, or other methods regarding transactions, administrative updates, promotional offers, and relevant App communications. In cases where consent is required by law, we will obtain it before sending marketing messages.

We process information to enforce our Terms of Service and uphold compliance with App agreements.

Mergers & Acquisitions
Should our company undergo a merger, acquisition, business restructuring, or sale of assets, user data may be transferred as part of that transaction. In such cases, we will ensure that data remains protected under the same privacy standards.
Public Profiles & Listings
Your user profile, which may contain details such as your name, photos, skills, service rates, and customer feedback, is visible to other users and may be accessible to the public. If you create a task listing, its contents will be viewable by Taskers selected through the App.

Slyde uses cookies to improve user experience, including remembering login details and tracking activity. You can manage or disable cookies in your browser settings.
We retain your personal data only as long as necessary to provide our services and meet legal obligations.
We keep your personal data for as long as you remain a User, to fulfill our contractual obligations to you, and for a longer period if required for our legitimate interests or to comply with legal obligations. Additionally, we may retain data that cannot be used to directly identify you, such as information stored with a randomly generated identifier. This allows us to associate the data with a specific User without knowing their identity. We use this anonymized data for research purposes and to improve our services, taking appropriate precautions to ensure that it cannot be re-associated with you.
